how would you feel if husbands family is still friends with his ex?

My husbands family is still friends with his ex on their face books. They are constantly liking each other's things and commenting, so it's always popping up on my newsfeed. It really bothered me and all my husband said was that he can't tell them what to do. How would you feel about it? Am I overreacting?

I would probably not love it, but he's right that they can be friends with whoever they want, so I think I'd just unfollow so that it's not on my newsfeed.

I actually had this happen when I first meet my hubby they would take his ex to family events even do I was pregnant with there first grandchild any who I would always cry because they knew it hurt me. My mom told me to stand up for my self his son chose me and not here so stand up for what u want. I ended up telling them that his son chose me and if they didn't respect that then we shouldn't even be family my  husband told his mom that she needed to stop or else she wouldn't be in the picture. You have rights to talk to who u want but but dont be disrespectful to the the girls your son chose

You just have to ignore it. He is right he cant tell them what to do. He doesnt get to choose who his family talks to or is friends with they do. My SO's family doesnt like his ex except his cousin. His cousin is always talking to his ex and even goes out with her places when the ex has my step daughter. His cousin doesnt like me but she also has only spoken maybe 5 full sentences to me and my SO and i have been together 6 years. I just ignore her as she has never tried to get to know me or talk to me. I tried to have a relationship with the cousin and it used to bug me because i wanted to be accepted by his family and especially those my step daughter loved. It just didnt happen so im not going to lose sleep over it.

My SIL has my husbands ex fling on her friends list, comments on each other's things and even talks about me. Idc bc I know she's jealous he chose to settle down and marry me and my SIL is mad I don't let my husband hand her money whenever she wants (she's 16) so she tries to do things to make me mad.

U get annoyed especially because she claimed he was a rapist and the other thought it appropriate to bring up their past sexual history right in front of me. I blocked them and anyone who was still friends with them. Including his mother and sil. They weren't happy but got the hint. Guess which two aren't their friends anymoreM
