When do you start using a bumbo seat?

My LO is 7.5 wks old and has been holding his head up for awhile now and always wants to be held in a seated position so he can look around. So I think he would love a bumbo but is he too young?

That might be too young, but might not be. Use your intuition. I started mine at 10 weeks and he loves it

I'm scared everyone in my family says it'll hurt his back but I always put him in a sitting position on my lap but I don't know how I feel about putting him in a bumbo

I got the fisher price sit me up, it has a little more of an angle so I don't worry about baby's neck as much.

I let my little guy sit in there for a few minutes but just watch his neck and make sure he's comfortable. He doesn't stay long but I think we're only a few weeks away from being able to use it more! He was 7 weeks in this pic (now 9 weeks)

Try him in it just be close and attentive and he'll be fine my son was around the same age when we started putting him in bumbo
