I'm not a doctor I wish I could help more but I have had blood clots that size and larger but not that color they were a deep dark red

If it is bigger than a quarter and it looks like it is, you should see a doctor. It also doesn't look like a normal blood clot to me.

I literally had this exact thing happen to me and I flipped so I went to the ER just in case I was prego but some random chance. Turns out my uterus was being super wacky due to the birth control I was taking. I can't handle progesterone. Who knew?! Anywho, my chunk was much larger than this. 
Of course you should always talk to your own doctor as everyone's body is different and could mean different things for you (like I had enough of large chunks and bleeding non stop so that meant no more bc). But it's not something to go crazy over. It looks exactly like mine, which is just uterus lining. Just got pooled and clumped.

I get those blood clots all the time. Most of the time they're this big. My doctor said it's normal, but you might want to talk to your doctor. Just in case.
