Baby food ?

My babygirl is 3 months she will be 4 months on the 31st of this month . my boyfriend mother in law and sister in law always wanna give her taste of foods and she lives it but i feel like its kinda early i guess im just scared it will upset her tummy . 
But i was wondering when could i start giving her babyfood ? Is it to soon to start ?

My kids dietitian said 4 months. Istarted giving him tastes f things around 3 months, seeing if hed eat it or if he dodnt like the texture. And then at 4 i started giving it to him regularly.

It's your baby, so if you don't want her eating food yet then tell them. Most pediatricians say around 4 months to introduce food but it also depends on their ability to eat, if they have the right tongue action and can handle it. Start with something simple like squash or sweet potatoes. Also if you start letting her to taste food make sure it's nothing with sugar it can cause diarrhea or an upset stomach. Happen to my nephew when they gave him whipped topping at 4 months bad diapers for a few days. I would start with veggies and then move on to fruits as she gets better and better at eating.

You can try baby food,start with one food at a time so if she is allergic to it or has a upset stomach to it you will know....usually they recommend somewhere between 4-6 months the jars of baby food normally have a start age on it..but her main source will still be breastmilk or formula,baby food is more of a snack at this age so don't replace a bottle with a jar just yet lol but if she seems ready you can try a little here and there...if she isn't she will let you know 😊

As long as she can eat them, it's fine. My daughter was more advanced and she was eating them at 2 months and her pediatrician was okay with it because she was able to eat them. Now at 9 months can can literally eat anything with no problem. Don't give her alot if you choose to. And do not give her anything that is hard, has chunks, or anything like that. But a few spoonfuls here and there wont hurt. At 4 months, my daughter LOVED mashed potatoes. I just gave her very very small bites and she never got sick.

In the U.K., you can get baby jar food from 4 months, health visitors recommend 6 months. I know people who wean from 4 months and there babies are fine.  It depends on if your baby is looking for more milk in the day.

I didn't want my daughter haven't any good until 6 months. Family still gave her a taste here and there but not often. It made me annoyed. The worse I couldn't stand was dairy idems because it can cause their kidneys bleed because their body can't handle the fat content. It's a personal decision really. I'm on my second kid and they won't get food until 6 months either.

Tell them you'll be doing baby led weaning when she's ready (normally 6 months). Please look into the dangers of starting a baby on foods at such an early age and maybe look into baby led weaning and see if it's for you. Until they're 1, milk is their main source of nutrition and food is just for fun (normally started at 6 months). Babies until they're 1 do not need food.
