skyla

So I got my skyla about 8 days ago, and at first I had major cramps and like a lot of spotting, sometimes i would just bleed, like almost an episode of bleeding but they were very spread out, now I'm cramping a lot, and having heavier bleeding, could this be my period, I don't know because my period just ended about a week ago, but could the skyla cause me to get my period again??? If anyone knows please fill me in!!!
