Getting Off The Pill

I am 18 and I want to stop my birth control pill, I am still a virgin and my boyfriend isn't really ready for sex, and I don't like being on any type of birth control. I want to have sex, but I'm willing to wait for my boyfriend to be ready, we only started dating on Monday. So we haven't even talked about sex. But since I'm not sexually active, should I stop the Pill. My boyfriend is also virgin I'm 18 and he's 16. My last Boyfriend dumped me last Friday. So should so stop the Pill
