Was diagnosed with HPV back in 2011 and 6 months later it was gone. Went back for my annual check up 3 weeks ago and it's back!!! Does this automatically mean that it's cancerous? Has anyone else had HPV come back after years?

Ur provider should of monitored you every year  for 3 years straight to make sure that the cells for HPV werent growing and if they were you could of had the colposcopy sooner. Good luck

It's a virus.  It comes and goes, just like a cold or influenza.  Don't be alarmed.  Just relax and wait for your colposcopy.

No it doesn't meant that. HPV is permanent in trouble system once you have it. You test negative when it goes dormit. Don't worry.
