Mixed Feelings....
So Hubby and I had planned to have a baby before he sadly ended up deploying in May of this year. We tried but it was kind of last minute before we were told he would be leaving again. He returned earlier this month and we started to pick up where we had left off. Our closest friends were all for it and were excited for us at first. Now they are telling me we should wait for a while and let my hubby get readjusted to being back home. I understand how they feel and it makes sense, but Hubby has insisted that he is fine and still wants a baby. Plus if we would have conceived he would have to adjust to a new baby at home anyway when he got back. We already have a 1 year old son and he has, in my opinion, transitioned back into "daddy mode" pretty well. Of course we have our little issues and arguments but what couple doesnt? We talk it out and move on. I still want to have a baby (hopefully a little girl!!!) as well but now im starting to second-guess since our friends all of the sudden feel a certain way. What should we do? I know its ultimately our choice because we are the parents taking care of our children but i cant help but to be a little emotional about it....
