stopping birth control

My DH and I are new to the game. Just stopped taking birth control after being on it for close to a decade. I have PCOS and needed to be on it consistently to regulate hormones. I have been off the pill for about 3 weeks now and still haven't had a visit from AF. Just wondering if any of you were previously on the pill and how long did it take you to get a period and/or a regular cycle? I was never in my life regular (anywhere from a 28-42 day cycle back in my teens through early 20's, before the pill; I'm now 33) and just want to know if anyone has had a similar situation. I'm excited and ready to start tracking ovulation, and planning for a baby!
