period?? when will it come back

okay so i started taking bc about 2 days after my period then after a week of taking it i started to spot then i was bleeding kind of heavy for a week it wasn't like my normal period idk what it was. i kept taking the pills until the first day of the 3rd week and then i just stopped bc it was messing with my moods tooooooo much. and now my period is 2 weeks late. is this normal? when should i get my period back?
