I was actually going to the gym to workout every night when I found the guy I'm with now. He was working there, and I was on the treadmill one night when he got to "cleaning" the one next to mine. This then led to us having a conversation, and over a couple weeks of this happening he eventually asked me on a date. We're now going on 10 months!😊❤️

I went over to a friend's place to hang out when they were just hanging out having a little bonfire. I showed up and it was my friend, his roommate, and some guy I didn't really know. My friend and his roommate went to bed and offered to let me and this other guy sleep on the couch but we stayed up for a while talking and laughing at some drunk dude outside doing weird shit. The best part was when I was trying to find my Chapstick (I'm very particular about not having chapped lips) and he said I didn't need it and I said yes I do and he said "well let me check and see if you do" and kissed me. Lol it was so cheesy but it was funny and it worked and I went to his place and we just made out and cuddled and the next morning he asked me out for coffee sometime and that was that. Sorry for getting so in detail but it's a cute story and I like to share 😊

On MSN messenger, back when it existed. He was the friend of my bf at the time, and was grilling me about dating his friend, and we got to talking and realised we are basically like the same person, have same family dynamic, born overseas, same family cars, family pets, same interests, even the love for nesquik. He said he fell for me pretty much then and there.

Though he moved away and we stopped talking for 4 years, until he saw my Facebook post about being in hospital. He decided to message me out of the blue, asking me out but I said no multiple times cos I just came out of a 5 year relationship, so he compromised and said how about we see a movie as friends? After the movie when I was catching the bus home he grabbed my face and kissed me. We've been together ever since.
