infection???

So i had recentley went to the doctor to see if i had bv because i had foul smelling discharge, and they told me to get monistat. So last night i put the ovule in and everything but then i started bleeding and i already finished my period a week ago, and now im getting like white discharge i guess, but its so thick! It looks like oitment. Idk if this is a side effect or if i have a yeast infection now idk, im scared to ask my mom :/
