Anal fissure or internal hemmorids?

OK this started about 4 weeks post partum. Sometimes it hurts to poop sometimes it doesn't. I drink alot of water so I'm not sure why, but if I have a relatively hard poop I bleed. Some days I won't have a hard poop at all like this morning, I pooped fine but I did take stool softeners last night, I had some bleeding and my butt hole has been hurting pretty much all day... it hurts pretty bad, I know they aren't external since there's nothing I see externally. I'm not sure what to do, I told the dr and he said probably internal hemmorids. I just don't know how to care for them since I read about them online and it says they normal don't hurt.... any suggestions?
