does anyone's partner complain about feeling iud during intercourse?

I have the paraguard iud and my hubby says that he can feel something metal when we make love.Does anyone else's partner complain about  feeling her iud during intercourse?  I am I alone here?

It's physiologically impossible for them to feel anything unless it is protruding out of your cervix or it is strings. A penis cannot reach or enter the uterus .

The IUD should be safely inside your uterus. For his penis to feel the IUD itself, one of two things would need to be happening: 1) his penis is getting past your cervix (which is very unlikely) or 2) the IUD is out of place which would mean you're not protected and should get it checked out ASAP.    Most likely he's feeling your strings, or just knowing that you have an IUD he's probably more aware/sensitive, maybe even paranoid? He could also just be hitting your cervix which varies how hard or soft depending on where you're at in your cycle

My partner is on the larger side and can feel the metal of the IUD. I've had it since January but we are in a long distance relationship so we've only been able to experience how it feels recently. The more we have sex the more he can feel it, he says. And not just the strings. At first, I only felt uncomfortbale during doggy as he's deepest then. But last night he said he could feel it in all positions. Any advice or anyone else dealing with this? If he can feel the metal does that mean the IUD isn't good for us?

Go to your doctor! You could be expelling it. It is not normal to feel anything hard or metal.

I have the Mirena and my boyfriend will fill it in some positions and it other positions he doesn't.

I've had the paragaurd for 5 years and that's never happened to me before.

Something metal 🤔 My partner can occasionally feel the strings but it's not a bother or anything. Apparently getting the strings cut shorter can make the problem worse sometimes, as the strings stick straight down rather than curling around the cervix.
