Any Suggestions???

So I've decided to take a break from shaving since it causes me to have bumps and ingrown hairs...so I'm just going to be trimming from now on .....my pubic hair is rather on the rough side ....is there anything I can put down there to make my pubic hair soft and not so yuck ??? I know its a weird question but I just would like to know
