Charging him with rape

Your underage daughter gets pregnant without you knowing she's even sexually active. You are against her being active at a young age, but it's too late. Would you charge the father of the baby with rape? Would you not charge him? Or would it depend if he's underage as well, don't charge him or if he's over age, then charge!
