Hcg trigger

I went for CD13 ultrasound today. Took 2 vial of hcg with me. They mixed one and gave it to me and took the other one. I came home without asking anything. My husband says you should have asked about it. For the first IUI I didn't have the medicine so they gave me one. I checked the bill and there is no bill for hcg. I don't know if that's the reason they took it. This is my last IUI. Does it become useless if I have the medicine with me?
