moving in???

So - I want to move in with my boyfriend next year if we go to the same college. I am in my first year of college right now but I still live at home because I graduated high school a year early and my parents didn't want me moving away so soon. Any advice on how I should talk to my (extremely protective and overbearing) parents about this? I mentioned it to my mom once and she said she would consider it but I have NO CLUE how to even bring it up to my dad 😫 I'll be a week away from turning 18 when school starts next year and my BF and I will have been together for a year
