PP care?!?

Okay so I'm currently pregnant and had a question for some PP mommies. I'm on my second pregnancy and was wondering what you did for pads etc. I'm allergic to pads. So I was wondering if there is anything that does the same that I can try without the possible reaction. I know tampons and cups are a big No No during the PP phase. With my first I bled for 6-8 weeks and it was absolutely terrible. On top of my stitches healing and just general healing I was dealing with the allergic reaction to the pads. Are depends the same fabric/stuff?!? I'm sorry for the TMI. TIA
