Anyone else have a baby that still refuses bottles?

My 7 month old is still EBF and refusing bottles. We have tried EVERYTHING and have officially given up. I mean don't get me wrong, I love breastfeeding and am so happy that I've been able to get this far and still see no end in sight... BUT omg if I don't get more that 2 hours to myself soon I'm going to lose it. The most time I've been "alone" was when she was 2 months old and I had to have an emergency root canal and she screamed the entire time I was gone because she was hungry and wouldn't take the milk I had pumped for her. Is anyone else in the same boat?

ur not alone my baby is 6 months and wont take a bottle 🍼 i haven't leave her since she was born because i'm scared she might start crying and upset my MIL so i just take her with me everywhere, i don't mind pumping is to much work for me!

Mine won't take the bottle. I don't really try to force her though. I still EBF.

Try a trainer sippy cup! My LO never took a bottle but at 4.5 months we gave her a trainer sippy and she drank it all within 5 mins! She loves to drink from my water bottle or cup of water too, you could even try just giving it to them in a regular cup and letting them take little sips while you hold it! Pretty sure we just bypassed the bottle, boobs to cup haha

I had the same problem. My baby will only take the Como Tomo bottles. I swear I tried every other bottle on the market. This is the only one he will take.

I had the same issue ... but I work 12 hour night shift so my baby was forced to take a bottle ... it was a 2 month struggle and over $300 in bottles she finally too the Dr brown bottles but is still reluctant and will not take a bottle if I am even in the house (you know when I am trying to sleep after working all night). It will get better when they are on solids. My 7 month old only nursed 4 times yesterday and once during the night last night ... she is starting to take more interest in solids.

Same boat here 7 months old and won't take a bottle, we have tried and I've ordered them and nothing, so I quit trying, I still pump daily because I freak out about my supply, and I have like 200 oz in the freezer.

We've tried so many bottles but she won't take any of them. I even ordered one online from England which is supposed to be the most accepted by breastfed babies but she wants nothing to do with it. I'm getting my haircut tomorrow (about 2.5hrs including commute) and that will be the longest I've been away from her since she was born. I'm leaving my husband with some expressed milk in a cup. Luckily she's fairly good with cups. If all else fails he can use a medicine syringe.

My baby is 7 mont h s old too and I introduced the bottle to her around 6 months and she takes it sometimes but doesn't drink the whole thing like ever. Did u try using a faster flow nipple? That worked for my daughter to like the bottle a little better

Same here, lo has never taken a bottle and still won't. We have started him on solids so he can go a little longer between feeds but still nurses every 3 hours. At one point I got worked up by it but now I just go with it, he will only be little once and one day he won't want to nurse, so I'm making the most of it for now xx
