Do you send your child to daycare?

Just curious 😊 both my kids will be in daycare when they're 12 months old. I love it to be honest. and so do they! Great from a social aspect...the educators are amazing. I'd love to stay home but it doesn't make sense moneywise.

I'm very fortunate to be able to stay home until my daughter goes to school. 
If I did have to work, I would choose my mother to watch her and even pay her for her time. I know I couldn't trust a stranger. I've heard too many terrible things sadly 😢

My brother in law has worked in several daycares in our area and quit all of them because of how terrible they were... the kids were neglected, abused and bullied by other kids, and the staff never gave a shit. He said codes and procedures were never followed.. he made several attempts at making reports about these places but the daycares would get "tips" before investigations and visits. He told me to never put my kids in one and hopefully I never have to. I do not trust anyone with my kids.. nobody will ever love and care for them like I do.

Our daycare is AMAZING. It is run by a young woman and her mother and stepfather. The house is totally decked out to support the kids and their learning. They eat home cooked breakfast lunch and snacks and are learning both English  and Spanish.  They do science experiments and art regularly.

It's genuinely fantastic.

I pick no I stay home because I run a daycare so I can stay home with my kids and I find it less stressful and more peaceful for my household if I'm not working and feeling stressed.

Not anymore. I couldn't afford it, sad really because I know my son misses it. His teacher was awesome, he was actually learning and thriving. Especially socially.
