Santa isn't real..
I really don't want to teach my children about Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, etc. My family never really took these things seriously and I always thought they were kinda silly. Am I wrong to deny my children of these "lies?"
Me and my husband aren't the cheery festive type so we would probably give it away or take the fun out of it somehow anyway. I just don't see the point of it. Sure, it gives them something to "look forward to" on Christmas, but they can always look forward to the presents or quality family time. We aren't religious people and we're keeping our home religion free as long as we can so Christmas is strictly about getting together with family. Do you guys agree or disagree with me? If you disagree, why?
