Is 151lbs too heavy?

I'm 5'5 and 150 pounds. According to BMI, I am overweight, but I've heard from other people that BMI isn't accurate. What do you think?

BMI isn't accurate because it doesn't take muscle into consideration. My boyfriend is considered obese because he weigh so much! But it's muscle. He's very healthy.

Just cuz ur bmi says your over weight doesn't mean you are they say I should weight for being 5"8 165lbs I look sick at 165lbs I look healthy at 175/180lbs becuase I am muscular and have big bones but 160/165 like they want me to be I feel and look unhealthy so I don't ever go by BMI I go by how I look and feel the best

I'm also 5'4" and 162. I am 7 weeks pregnant and have lost a few pounds(started at 165). My doctor said no more weight loss! Only gain weight now. I think if you're active enough and try to eat somewhat healthy it shouldn't matter. Some people just store fat differently.

No. I'm 5'4" and 160. My ideal weight is 145-150. My personal ideal and also my husband's ideal. It also depends how you're shaped and how muscular you are. I'm not super muscular but I'm curvy...wide hips and DDs lol. Less than 145 and I would look creepy! You are perfect😘

Being doesn't take into account a lot of things. I've never went by it personally.  I'm 5'6 and 127 but have a rather slender frame. I personally couldn't carry more weight. It's all about how and where it's distributed as in muscle ex.

BMI is not accurate at all. I was (pre-pregnancy) 5 ft 5 and 145 lbs and a size 5. If I had lost any more weight, I would have been too small for my frame.

I'm 5'2, 140 lbs. BMI says I'm overweight. I don't think I took overweight. I wear the same sizes my "skinny" friends do if not smaller (not that clothing size defines your weight). Also I have a very poor appietite, so I undereat & have had a few days where I forget to eat. If anything I feel sometimes as if im underweight but the BMI says overweight? Lmao no BMI doesn't mean shit.
