LGBT vs pedophilia

Very pissed off right now. My SO's friends don't normally piss me off, but they did today. On Facebook, I saw that apparently someone made children based sex dolls for pedophiles, and I told my SO's friends about it, and how I thought that was extremely wrong, it's basically gonna make pedophiles think what they do is okay. Which it isnt. It's raping and molesting little kids.

My SO's friends love to argue apparently. So they came up with this argument that the dolls will help them with their mental illness, and that saying pedophilia is wrong is like how some people believe gay people are wrong.

THOSE ARE TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS. LGBT PEOPLE ARE MOST OFTEN CONSENSUAL WHERE AS PEDOPHILIA IS MOST OFTEN NOT. Then one of them brought up the argument that more gay rapes happen than anything else. BECAUSE OF JAIL. TOTALLY FUCKING DIFFERENT, RIGHT??? My boyfriend wasn't around to calm me down but I was fucking pissed.

Why they were defending pedophiles is beyond me, although one of them was just creating argument just for the sake of arguing. But honestly, how could people even compare the two? I'm not LGBT myself, but I will defend them. People sometimes make no goddamn sense to me.
