my period is late by a day

me and my boyfriend had sex like a week ago and we didn't use a condom, he pulled out and everything but my period is a day late and im just worried a little..i also read it could be stress that causes late periods because i did have finals last week so i was stressing about that..is there any advice u can give me or tips to help me not worry
