dry penis

My husband and I have sex on the regular... we are newlyweds and it's usually at least once every day. He has been noticing dry skin on his shaft and I'm not sure if it's from too much sex or if we need to be lining up more? Anybody know? Also i know it's not an STD because we are each other's first and only sexual partners.
