preeclampsia scare
So yesterday I went in for my 36 week check up and an ultrasound, my baby is weighing 6.5 pounds! I know ultrasound can go a pound either way! My doctor said that if I make it to 40 weeks another ultrasound will be done and if she weighs 9 pounds my chances for a VBAC are slim!:( I am beyond heartbroken. I asked if there was anyway I could get things going and he said there are many thing out there but most of them are midwives tales and the only thing that really works is sex.
In other news also at the apt my blood pressure was high. He said it wasn't high enough to diagnosis preeclampsia, but that if I had any light headedness or a headache that Tylenol wouldn't get rid of I need to go in and have my blood pressure checked. I looked up the signs and symptoms and I have had a few. I'm really struggling emotionally from the doctors visit yesterday and freaked out about my blood pressure. Anyone else have preeclampsia, what is the treatment, were u induced early bc of it?
