Staring a new relationship long distance.

So I met this really nice guy today that has been through similar experiences to me and we just seemed to click, he was part of a group doing some work to my house and we flirted most of the day, he's coming back tomorrow and I'm unsure whether to give him my number or not? He lives about 2 hours away, he has a son, and is single. Should I give my number and leave it to see if he gets in touch or try to find someone that lives closer (he does travel to my area a lot for work and spends a couple weeks here at a time). I've been in a ldr in the past and it worked well for me but I don't know if he'd be up for it and I don't wanna make a fool out of myself, Any advice ladies?

Update; he was called to another job so he couldn't come finish mine so I wrote a note with my number and put it in an envelope for his coworker to give to him, I hope he gets it today, it's down to him now but I really hope he gets in touch, I'm nervous at the same time.
