Birth control

So I have the nexplanon (implanon). When I get my period it last WEEKS sometimes a month and a half. Anybody else have gave birth control? Did you stick with it or do I need to use something else? I use to have it about 4 years ago and my period would only last 5 says and it would be SUPER light. Now that I have it since my last baby my period last forever. Give me your thoughts ESPECIALLY if you have/had this birth control. TIA!
