Okay so I had my period at the beginning of the month. From like December 6 till the 11th. Friday night me and my boyfriend had rough sex. I mean it was just this one position where he was hitting my cervix. It hurt but felt good. Literally like an on and off thing good and bad. Well later I went to pee and when I cleaned myself I had pink/redish on the toilet paper. I thought maybe it was something small so I didn't worry about it. It got worse! I started bleeding! I'm having my period all over again the cramps and all. Is this normal? I'm kind of scared. This is the first time that's happened. I read it's normal but if anyone who's had this issue could help with some advice?

Btw I'm currently still bleeding it's not super heavy but it's not light either. I've been using pads incase I actually do have bruising not tampons. Usually I prefer tampons. The spotting started friday night before the not so rough sex. The actual bleeding started Sunday morning after having rough sex Saturday night.

The cervix isn't used to being hit like how you describe so I think it's just had a small bruised reaction it should start to lighten up if it continues within the next 2-3 days then definitely see a doctor

When I try to research it, I hear that sex will not affect periods. But I don't think that's true. I have a very irregular period, I think it's due to hormones. And I think a sudden change with sexual organs can potentially make your body do weird things.
