Morning after pill... how reliable?

So, I had sex about four days ago now (unprotected). Yes. I know it was stupid but it happens. I took the morning after pill yesterday and went to my GP who prescribed it to me but I keep reading stuff online which freaks me out, I just need some closure and also my GP was so blunt like he was saying that the chances are pretty high, however he didn't cum and online it says that EC is pretty reliable so anyone had the same experience because I don't want to get pregnant!!!

I've taken the morning after pill more times than a woman probably should, and it has always always worked for me. Don't worry girl. They say it's best to take it 72 hours after unprotected sexy time.. but hey that's okay. I'm sure you'll be A-okay babe.

It's called the morning after pill cause it's most effective the morning after. The closer to sex you take it the more likely it is to do its job, it doesn't end a pregnancy it prevents it so if fertilization has happened it won't do anything.

the morning after pill stops you from ovulating. but if you've already ovulated and produced an egg then it won't work
