That's not even correct really-- 11 of the months are longer than 28 days. Drs basically go by weeks, & months are irrelevant (& I'm not really sure why you care how many months you are given that you know how many weeks you are?). Mathematically, each trimester is 13 weeks & 2-3 days-- which would be 3 months-- so I'd say you are just finishing up your 4th month of pregnancy.

Every 4 weeks is a month. So 16 weeks would be 4 months. So you are 4 months 1week and 5 days. 20 weeks is 5 months, 24 weeks 6 months etc. This how I think of it. Right now I tell people I'm 7 months and I'm 28+3 weeks.

You don't count a month any differently just because you are pregnant.
Based on you saying you are 17w5d I have put your due date at June 1 which means on January 1 you will be 4 months and you will change to the next month on the 1st of every month.
