how to prevent stretch marks ?!

I'm 20, skinny & 6 weeks pregnant. Is there anything you swear by that prevented you from getting stretch marks?? I will do anything to prevent them, what creams/ oils did/do you use? My mom had me at 19 and has a ton. Thank you :)

Edit:......ok I realize I can't completely prevent them I was just looking for some suggestions to help at least....

You can't prevent them, it's genetic. If your mom has them, you're more likely to get them, as well. You can try bio oil, creams, anything to moisturize your skin and that may reduce them but they cannot be prevented

As long as you keep it moisturized it shouldn't get too bad. I'm super lazy when it come to any type of routine and I barely got any. Just make sure you start now and keep that belly moisturized allllll the time. Mine would start randomly itching at work and I was like "oh crap I have nothing!" And that's when I probably got most of mine. If you stay at home or just go to school it shouldn't be too hard to stay on top of the moisturizing thing.

My mom has a ton and so does my sister but they never tried to fight it lol, so it may be genetic but you can prevent a lot of it if you help your skin out when it's stretching so it doesn't tear. Try coconut oil, palmers... Good luck girl!!

What's weird is I had none while I was pregnant.  When I had my c-section I now have a ton.  Don't know why. Anyway coco butter lotion and jojoba oil.
