Have you been shamed after getting responses about a question asked on Eve?

eve?" /> I asked a simple question earlier and the response I got was hurtful. "Is this a serious question? Like come on" Obviously I'm asking so I'm informed right? I legitimately felt ashamed that I asked the question. That isn't right. eve is a place for asking questions, getting opinions and advice. I want to know if I'm the only one out here that has felt ashamed for a question.

Unfortunately some women truly just ask to troll. But yes there are some mean spirited women on here too. I got a comment in one of my posts about a miscarriage I had and my inlaws being insensitive and offended by my grief and a woman on here told me to stop being a selfish drama queen, that I'd have my day (which is part of the grief since I found out I am infertile as well but of course she didn't pay attention to that... Just me "being selfish") another part can just be text tone. Text tone just sucks period. It can be interpreted either way. Regardless, I'm sorry.

Some women don't realize there are some people without much information. I know a lot about my body but that does not mean I have the right to be rude and mean. I got this too. I'm sorry.

I haven't had that experience but i don't ask many questions as well. In general on social media I've been shamed for asking questions or making a simple mistake in a statement. Sometimes its difficult to not to let it get to me but I try to remember that's not he good people behave. Its not wrong to not know something or make a mistake, it is wrong to shame others.

When I first got the app I asked a question about discharge and why I was getting so much at specific times. Keep in mind this was when I was learning about my body and wasn't thoroughly informed. I made a topic saying I know for a fact that I wasn't ovulating so it couldn't have been discharge because of that and I also mentioned that I had to keep changing liners because that's how excessive it was. Some girl commented saying "that's what liners are for, keep wearing one." Uhm obviously I know what liners are for😑 I mean I appreciated that she commented but that's not the answer I was looking for. Kinda made me feel stupid and that I asked a dumb question.
