I'm American but I was always interested in Japanese culture. I LOVE languages I'd love to learn every language on this planet, so far I can only speak English, Japanese and Spanish though.
What about you guys? Where are you from, what languages do you know ?

I'm from Australia and am fluent in English, semi-fluent in Spanish and can pretend I am fluent in German and angry Russian when I'm trying to get the birds to fuck off from outside my window in the morning.

I'm American, was born here but moved to Germany when I was 10. My grandparents are Kurdish but my parents were born in the US too. In Germany I had to decide between learning French or Latin so I thought why not Latin (very, very bad idea) and I know a little bit Spanish but I only know like a few words and sentences. 
So all in all I speak fluently English, Kurdish and German but also Turkish. You don't speak Latin so it was pretty much a waste but I think it's pretty cool.

I'm American and I can speak some Spanish. I haven't practiced it on awhile though. I can read Korean and I don't know if you count it but I'm learning sign language currently.

F you can pick up Japanese that's impressive. I hear it's hard to learn.
I'm from Canada and speak three languages. I speak French and English fluently and learned Lebanese Arabic when I lived in Lebanon. I also picked up some Africacanze and Spanish in my travels. Traveling to a country and emersing yourself in the language is the best way to learn.

Pretty cool!  I only speak English. Hubby is bilingual- Spanish and English. I'd choose Spanish to learn over any other language simply based on where I live and that he will be speaking to our child in Spanish so she is bilingual as well.

I'm fluent in Spanish and English, I'm from Costa Rica orginally (between panama and Nicaragua), I know a little bit of French and I'm learning Italian. I learned French when I was younger and was fluent but since I don't speak it much I'm not fluent anymore, but I do understand what people are saying in French.
