Did Depo Do This?

I was on the depo shot as a teenager. After gaining a lot of weight on it, the doctors took me off of it. Since then I haven't had any birth control (4 years). My fiancé and I have been trying for almost a year now and nothing. Negative every time.

I used to have a cycle that was about 25 days as a teenager. Now I get my period about once every three months.

Could depo have done this?

Any suggestions on what we can try?

I wasn't on Depo, but was on the pill for years. And that's how my periods were. I'd get one every two or three months. It took us two years, but we finally got pregnant naturally. I am 23 Weeks now.

I was on Depo for 5 years (age 18-23) and after I quit getting it, I didn't have a period at all for almost 1 whole year. My cycles used to be very heavy and last 5-7 days and now it's light-medium and lasts 4-5 days max. It's crazy how long it takes to become regular again.
