anyone else have irregular and super dark periods?

I got my first period last year, and it's never been normal. I'm 15 this year and I was wondering if it's normal to have such a dark color all the time. Like when I say dark, I mean dark dark. Is this because of horomones? I'm quite athletic, between cheer, soccer, and volleyball I'm pretty busy. Does anyone else experience this kind of period? Also, my period is never regular. My cycles vary from 22 days to 150 days, so I never know when it is coming!  I know that everyone's cycles are different, but I've always been wondering if it's normal
