SPD in Pregnancy? help?

33 weeks & I've been beginning to feel a lot of pain in my left pubis down my upper inner left thigh (the groin) I can hardly walk, getting up is painful, even dressing is hard, it is definitely worse at night when turning sides. I've told this to my OB but she says its all normal blah blah and maybe that my baby is literally on my nerves. But I am concerned! I feel like it's SPD (symphysis pubis dysfunction) a type of Pelvic Girdle Pain. How do I tell my doctor this. 😢😢
Can anyone relate? How will it affect my labor? Will it go away?

Just tell your doctor about the pain and that a friend of yours suggested it might be spd? I still have it and I had my daughter December 1, sometimes it lasts until after birth and sometimes it goes away soon after. It won't be permanent though

It hurts! Some days are way worse than others. I think it depends on baby's position. 35 weeks and managing by staying off my feet, bit if I couldn't do that I would need some type of pain relief. A heating pad helps a little

Omg I'm in the exact same boat! Same place and everything. One night it hurt so bad I called the OB on call and he said to put an ice pack on it, not to use heat because it's an inflammation. I first got the pain around 28 weeks and now I'm 36 weeks and it literally has only gotten worse and I can't find anything that helps it. I am just trying to hang tight until baby gets here. It helps to get dressed while your sitting down.

Had this with all three of my pregnancies. Try a pelvic band specially made for spd. They are expensive but anything to hold them bones together and to get some relief will feel great. Also, sometimes it goes away right after baby is born and sometimes it stays for months.
