Dr did a blood test and urine test. She said the results came back that I'm 1-3 weeks pregnant. But for my last period 11/16 it puts me to over 5 weeks. I'm confused. They wouldn't do an ultasound. Has anyone had similar stories?

Blood tests are based off gestation, so you would subtract the two weeks prior to predicted ovulation. Day of last period includes these two weeks. This means that you are five weeks, but blood should indicate 3 weeks. Hope this makes sense 😊

In addition to what Corey said, they normally won't do an ultrasound until about 7-8 weeks so that something actually shows up for you on the screen 😊

I think it's all just guess work until the fetus is big enough to measure and see.

Either you ovulated later than you thought or your HCG levels just aren't that high.
