Year Old Baby Food?

My aunt has twins, who will be 2 years on February 2nd. She got a bunch of jar baby food, from WIC, and they are all good until February to Aug 2017, since baby food lasts about 2 years, I'm guessing they are all about a year old or less.

My daughter is 6 months and I don't want to waste them by just throwing them out (we have a diaper box, that holds 222 size two diapers, filled with Stage 2 jars)

so I want some opinions on what others think?

P.S. I fed her some Pears that expire January 5th, 2017 and so far she's fine, but opinions are nice to have...
