OPK False advice

Is it just me or do I see a lot of people commenting on opk questions saying that it's positive even when it's not? I thought the test line was supposed to be as dark or darker than the control line to be positive. If it's lighter it's negative. But I see a lot of women treating them like pregnancy tests stating that if there's a second line period, it's positive. Just seems a little frustrating for those looking for real help.
