What's the best way to make the most on my car?

I tried this website and they offered me like 1000 less than everywhere else but it's the most guarantees option.

I look at the private sales online and it goes for higher but then it's the hassle of scams/time wasters etc

I don't wanna part exchange for a new one I need to sell it.

What's the most effective way ?

I'd also say carmax if you don't want to sell it yourself. I've taken two cars there and gotten fair offers.

I sold mine to a dealership. I definitely got less than a private buyer but it saved me the hassle of DMV, meeting strangers, haggling with strangers, taking it to a mechanic for checkup etc.

I got a pretty good deal at Carmax. You could probably do better selling to an individual, but they made it really easy. You can go in for a quote, try to sell it yourself, and go back if that doesn't end up working out.
