Do newborns need footy pajamas?

In my mind yes. It could snow here in March/April when our boy arrives. It has been a while since I cared for a newborn, but do they need footy pajamas? We have one pair of newborn and 6 of 3 month. I am feeling overwhelmed by all these clothes! A lot of the 3 month are the same size as 3-6 month so I don't know how to organize them.

The alternative is for them to wear socks with their pjs. Most babies need something on their toes.

I have five total for all my newborns. With my first I started with only three. He was born in winter too and most of the time he was swaddled with just a onesie and a warm blanket so it didn't really matter.

Yes either an all in 1, feet pjs or socks in bed. If your using a grow bag then you will be ok but regardless of snow etc they need something on their feet my daughter is 13 months and currently in bed with socks on lol she kicks the covers off all the time but cold feet wake her up!

It just depends! The room my baby will be sleeping in is actually one of the warmest in the house, so I don't think she'll need super warm pjs.

Yep. My daughter is 2 and has worn them all year round her whole life. They're all she wears to sleep in bc when they're small they can't have blankets and no matter how old they are, socks get kicked off at night. I had 4-5 in every size. (Except size 3mo bc that's all I was given at my baby shower and we got 17 of them😂).

My baby wont wear socks, pants, or tights so her closet consists of dresses and sleepers. Since it's cold, she's always in a sleeper, so in my opinion yes they do

I have tons of footy sleepers from newborn-12 months...I figure he can wear them year round for bed.
