4 days after D&C (SMM)

I had my op 4 days ago which ended my MC. I only bled for a day, now I've had a negative pregnancy test. Does this mean I can start tracking my ovulation again? Will it be accurate? We haven't had sex yet, I was gonna wait a week. We're not going to use protection as I haven't heard any evidence of being more at risk of another loss by getting pregnant in the first cycle after a MC.
