A couple weeks ago my cousin found a kitten on the side of the road in a plastic bag with its dead mother. She took the kitten home and cleaned him up and told my mom about him. My mom said shed take him. Well we didnt know he was so sick like he is. We took him to the vet because he wae having diarrhea, he has a prolapsed rectum and they said if they could get the diarrhea cleared up it would help his butt. Well theydidnt keep him or do anything else to him like worm him or give him his shots or anything so we took him home. We gave him his medicine for diarrhea and it did nothing if anything made it worse. They charged us 300 dollars for his visit. And it did nothing for him. We don't know what else to do we've googled everything possible to try to cure it at home but nothing works. I was just at the hospital the other day for contractions and was put on bed rest now i can't take care of the kitten like he need's to be. And especially can't afford going back to the vet. Also the virus they diagnosed him with i looked up and it said they will eventually die from it. What can i do? He's only 8 weeks old approximately. With a newborn baby the kitten doesn't need to be having diarrhea everywhere. Like he tries to get to the litter box but sometimes he can't make it and also since he has a prolapsed rectum he leaks poop out when he lays down or sits somewhere.
