Pill question

I'm supposed to start my period in 3 day but I just finished my first pack yesterday. I take then religiously everyday at every time.

But I am new to the OC birth control and am confused on if I should start on my next pack or will my period come?

Last period was December 10 to 14.

Also my doctor told me to start on the last day of my period which was on the 14 of December.
