when did you learn about period and when did you get your first one?

I already knew what period was way before i got it (i had mine when i was 13).. i learnt about it when my older cousin got hers - she was 12 and I was 9... then my little cousin also got hers at 11yo, and I got mine three weeks after her.. i was actually waiting to get it 😂

Got my period at 11yrs old and freaked cause i had no clue what was going on then my Grandma explained everything too me lmao. Like i had already knew that the grown women in the family bled from there just didn't know i could to while being a kid lmao. I have already started the topic with my girls just so they won't freak like i did lol

Learned all about it when I was 8. A group from a popular feminine product brand went to our shool and lectured us about it. They also gave us colorful and girly freebies of their product and asked us to just carry it with us everyday just in case the first period day happens lol. But I got mine when I was 11. I remember asking my classmates who started their period earlier than I did how to would I know if the blood is coming out. They said it feels like small amount of pee coming out. Lol and then, during class I thought it was just blood that I'm feeling. Turns out I'm already peeing, and I peed a lot! 😅🙆🏻My uniform skirt got wet and I just want to really go home! Thank God, the school store have a skirt on stock that time so I just bought a new one and used one of the panties I save in my locker.
