should my boyfriend go to the ER?

For the past couple of days, he has had a non-stop fever in the 100-101. His body aches, he has a headache that won't go away, he has the chills, and has trouble sleeping at night, we thought maybe a flu or cold? But he's not sneezing or coughing? I'm 16 weeks, I'm scared I might get what he has? Should we go?
