Positive Fetal fibronectin test?

Had a positive Fetal fibronectin at 28 weeks. Been given steroid injections just incase... anyone else had this if so how long after did you actually go into preterm labour?

I just went through this 5 weeks ago. My fnn was positive and i was 26 weeks. Having REAL contractions 4 minutes apart. I was in the hospital 2-3 days. They stopped my labor. They said i would go into labor again within 14 days because it was positive. I kept asking the percentage of women who ACTUALLY went into labor within that 14 days. After getting the same answer "I don't know" from every dr and nurse. I finally got one that told me about 20%. And thats what I found on the internet too. I am now 31 weeks tmrw and still pregnant, thanks to God. My advice is listen to YOUR body, try not to do a lot and drink tuns of water, stay hydrated. Every day that passes with baby inside is a good day for baby 😊. Hope that helps you.

Thanks. This will be night 3 in hossy so far. Had steroid injections nights 1 nd 2 just to be safe. The pain just wont give up every time we think its gone bam back with a vengeance. Its not tightening pains tho its more mild menstrual period type cramps plus loads of back pain :(  .
