Worst day ever

Today my husband lost his job that he's been at for 5 years ...we just had a baby on December 23 and have a 5 year old daughter . He hasn't been home yet and said he's not coming home because he's a failure and doesn't have a job to support his family . I explain to my husband that we have money saved up and we will be okay and that he will find another job but he's been depressed all day and I have no ideal what to do. I'm home with a newborn and my daughter so I can't move around to look for him. I called him and texted him numerous of times asking him to come home and that I love him regardless of the situation. His mom called me an hour ago saying he came over crying his eyes out and how he feel like he has nothing. ☹️ this makes me so sad because he loved his job and his coworkers ...it was his family but I guess business got slow and he was one of the first for them to lay off. 😔
